Samantha (Sam) Klausen is a health care and business attorney who helps clients navigate complex regulations with a practical, detail-oriented approach. Sam advises clients across a range of regulatory and transactional matters, bringing a steady focus on translating complicated rules into clear, workable guidance. Her work is grounded in collaboration and careful analysis, with an eye toward solutions that are both compliant and operationally realistic.
Before joining Hatfield Knivila, Sam practiced at Tonkon Torp. She also brings experience from the highest levels of state government, including work as a staff member of the governor’s office, the legislature, and the Oregon Supreme Court—background that gives her a unique perspective on the regulatory landscape and how laws are developed, interpreted, and applied.
A lifelong Oregonian, Sam enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and finding something creative to do.
