Introducing Amy Joseph Pedersen

We’re delighted to introduce Amy Joseph Pedersen, who joins Hatfield Knivila LLC as senior counsel with a focus on employment law counseling for health care providers and health plans. 

Amy brings a wealth of experience to our team, developed over many years as a skilled employment law litigator. She is known for providing direct, strategic, and actionable advice—grounded in a deep understanding of both the legal landscape and the practical realities facing employers in the healthcare sector. 

Amy’s background includes substantial trial experience in both state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings and arbitration. Her practice has spanned all areas of employment law, including discrimination claims, wage-and-hour disputes, and complex class actions. That real-world litigation experience informs her approach to counseling—she knows how to help clients avoid problems before they escalate, and how to prepare them when issues do arise. 

At Hatfield Knivila LLC, Amy focuses exclusively on advising existing clients on employment matters that intersect with health care operations, culture, and compliance. While she is not currently taking on new clients, her expertise is a tremendous asset to the firm and the organizations we serve.
